Mitho Lolo is an authentic Sindhi sweet flatbread. On the occasion of Shitala Satam Vrat (Thandri in sindhi) Ingredients/Method: – 1 Cup of Gud/Jaggery3 Cups of WaterSoak the Gud in water for 2-3 HoursTake 3 Cups of Aata/Wheat FlourAdd 1/2 tsp. Elaichi powder/Cardamom PowderAdd 2 Big Spoons Desi-Ghee/Clarified butterAdd Jaggery Syrup (Made from Jaggery and Water)Knead a tough DoughMake ball size portionsCook it on a griddle/Tawa on both sides Authentic Sindhi Besani Basar Ani/Tiki ki Sayel Sabzi – Pancham’s Kitchen Take a mixing bowlAdd 1 cup of besan/gram flourAdd 1 finely chopped/grated onionAdd 2 finely chopped hari mirch/green chilliesAdd 1 tbsp kuskus/poppy seedsAdd 1 tspn ajwain/carom seedsAdd 1/4 tspn hing/asafoetidaAdd 1/2 tspn lal mirch/red chili powderAdd salt as per your tasteAdd 2 tspn oilMix it wellAdd little water and start kneading a doughAdd 1 cup besan moreMix it wellAnd knead it into a doughGrease a plate & your handsTake ball sized portionsAnd form patties/tiki’sForm as many patties/tiki’s as you can make from the doughPre-heat a fry pan and add oil to shallow fry the patties/tiki’sCheck the heat and take a little dough portion and test fry itOnce satisifed shallow fry the patties/tiki’s until golden in color on both sidesRemove it on a different plate on a tissue paperPre-heat a pressure cookerAdd 4 tbsp oilAdd 4 finely chopped/grated onionAdd 2 finely chopped hari mirch/green chilliesAdd salt as per your tasteMix it wellPlace the lid and let it cook under a lid for 1 minAdd 2 blended tomatoesMix it wellAdd 1/4 tspn hing/asafoetidaAdd 1 tspn lal mirch/lal mirch powderAdd 1 tspn haldi/turmeric powderAdd 1 tsbp dhaniya/coriander powderAdd salt as per your tasteMix it wellPlace the lid over the cooker and let it cook under a lid for 1 minMix it well & slightly mash the tomatoes & onionAdd 1 cup of waterAdd 2 chopped aloo/potatoesMix it wellLock the lid and let it cook for 1 whistlesRemove the lid and mix it wellAdd 1 cup of water moreAdd the shallow fried patties/tikisMake sure that they are dipped in the gravy properlyLock the lid and let it cook for 1 whistleRemove the lid and keep the pressure on slow heat for 2-3 minutesServe it hot with chapati or rice 🙂 Authentic Sindhi Koki Recipe – Pancham’s Kitchen Add 2 cups of aata/regular wheat flourAdd 2 chopped medium sized onionsAdd 2 finely chopped hari mirch/green chilliesAdd 1 tspn jeera/cumin seedsAdd 1 tbsp crushed dried anar dana/pomegranate seedsAdd 1 tspn lal mirch/red chili powderAdd salt as per your tasteAdd 1 cup chopped dhaniya/corianderAdd 2 tbsp ghee/clarified butterAdd half cup of water slowly to form the doughKnead into a soft doughApply 1 tbsp ghee on top of the dough and give it a good final kneadForm a handful of ball sized portions to make the koki and keep them asideOn a flat surface and flatten it with your hand and slightly with a belan/rolling pinPre-heat a tawaApply ghee on top of the tawaSemi-cook the koki on both the sidesRemove it and place it back on the flat surfaceFlatten it properly with the help of a belan/rolling pinAgain place it on top of the tawaApply ghee and cook it well on both the sidesServe it hot with curd Share this:Tweet Related Recipes authentic sindhi foodDelicious sindhi foodDesi Indian SindhiDesi Sindhifood recipeIndian food recipeIndian SindhiSindhiSindhi FoodSindhi food cusineSindhi food recipe
