Mumbai Street Food Recipes #1 Pancham, May 7, 2022May 7, 2022 Mumbai Vada Pav Recipe: Take 5-6 Boiled & Peeled PotatoesMash themHeat oil for temperingAdd 2-3 chopped & crushed Garlic cloves and 1 green chilli finely choppedAdd 1 TBSP Mustard Seeds (Rai)Add 5-6 Curry LeavesAdd 1/2 TSPN Haldi (Turmeric Powder)Add 1/2 TPSN Hing (Asafoetida)Add the tempting to the potatoesAdd some chopped corianderAdd 1 TSPN Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) powderAdd 1 TSPN Amchur (Dry Mango) PowderAdd salt as per your tasteMix it wellGrease your hands with some oil and take the potato mixture and make small balls out of themTake 1 or 1.5 cup gram flour (besan)Add 1/2 TSPN Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) powderAdd 1/2 TSPN Haldi (Turmeric Powder)Add salt as per your tasteAdd 1/2 TPSN Hing (Asafoetida)Add water and mix the mixture to make a flowing consistency batter.Heat the oil in a frying pan / KadaiDip the potato balls into the besan mixture and put them into the Kadai.Deep fry until golden brown and serve hot with Pav and Coriander chutney.
