Sabudana Vada/Tapioca Sago Patties

Ingredients: –

  • 200 Gram Sabudana/Tapioca Sago Soaked for 3 Hours
  • 200 Gram Mashed Boiled Potato/Aloo
  • 100 Grams Crushed Roasted Peanuts/Mumfali
  • 1 Tbsp. Crushed Black Pepper/Kali Mirch
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped Coriander/Dhaniya Patta
  • Salt as Per Your Taste
  • Oil to Cook and Grease
  • 2 Chopped Green Chilies/Hari Mirch
  • 1 Tsp. Black Salt/Kala Namak
  • 1 Tsp. Cumin Seeds/Jeera
  • 1 Tsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

Method to Cook: –

  • In a Mixing Bowl put the Sabudana/Tapioca Sago
  • Add the Mashed boiled potatoes
  • Add the crushed roasted peanuts
  • Add some coriander leaves
  • Add 2 Chopped Green Chilies
  • Add 1 tsp. Sugar
  • Add 1 tsp. Jeera/Cumin Seeds
  • Add 1 tsp. Black salt
  • Add Salt as per your taste
  • Add 1 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • Mix it well
  • Grease your hands and take small portions of the mixture in your hands and form small balls and flatten them and keep them aside
  • Pre-Heat a Kadai and add oil to Shallow fry
  • Cook until golden brown on each side. It gets cooked really quick so no need to actually deep fry them
  • Serve hot with Mint chutney or Tomato ketchup
