Easy Paneer Butter Masala Recipe Pancham, March 9, 2023March 9, 2023 Paneer Butter Masala is a rich and creamy Indian vegetarian dish that is made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked in a tomato-based gravy with butter, cream, and a blend of aromatic spices. It is a popular North Indian dish that is loved by many and is easy to prepare at home. Follow this recipe to make a delicious Paneer Butter Masala. Ingredients: 250 grams paneer (cut into cubes) 2 medium-sized onions (finely chopped) 2 medium-sized tomatoes (finely chopped) 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp oil 1/4 cup cream Salt to taste Chopped coriander leaves for garnish Instructions: Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute or until the raw smell goes away. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for a minute. Add butter and mix well until it melts and gets incorporated into the mixture. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool down for a few minutes. Once the mixture has cooled down, blend it into a smooth puree using a blender or a food processor. Heat the same pan and add the puree. Add salt to taste and mix well. Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Cook for 5-7 minutes on low heat. Crush the dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) using your hands and add them to the pan. Mix well. Add cream and mix well. Cook for another minute. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Your delicious Paneer Butter Masala is now ready to be served. Serve it hot with naan, roti, or rice.
