Tomato Soup – Quick and Easy

Ingredients:

  • · 3 Chopped Red Medium Sized Tomatoes
  • · Salt as per your taste
  • · 2 Cups of Water
  • · Black Salt as per your taste
  • · Black Pepper Powder as per your taste
  • · 1 Tsp. of sugar
  • · 1 Tsp. Cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp. of Water
  • · Fried Bread Cubes to Garnish

Method to prepare:

  • · Pre-Heat a Pressure Cooker
  • · Add 3 Chopped Red Tomatoes
  • · Add Little Salt as per your taste
  • · Add 2 Cups of Water
  • · Mix it Well
  • · Lock the lid and let the pressure cooker have 5 whistles
  • · Switch of the flame and let the pressure release
  • · Open the lid and blend the tomatoes with a hand-blender
  • · Strain the tomato pulp through a strainer into a vessel.
  • · Now transfer the tomato soup into a cooking vessel and place the vessel again on the flame
  • · Add Black salt as per your taste
  • · Add Black pepper powder as per your taste
  • · Add 1 Tsp. of Sugar
  • · Add the Cornflour slurry (1 Tsp. Corn Flour mixed with 2 tbsp. of Water) to thicken the soup
  • · Boil the soup for 2-3 minutes
  • · Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish it with some fried bread cubes. Serve it hot.
