Pav Bhaji – Quick, Easy and Simple Pancham, June 8, 2019June 22, 2019 Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from India, consisting of a thick vegetable curry, fried and served with a soft bread roll (Pav) Pav bhaji has many variations in ingredients and garnishes, but is essentially a spiced mixture of mashed vegetables in a thick gravy served hot with a soft white bread roll, usually cooked on a flat griddle (tava)/Kadai or Pressure Cooker Ingredients: – 1 Cup Boiled Green Peas1 Cup Chopped Green Capsicum3-4 Red Tomatoes1 Cup Chopped Onion1 Cup Chopped boiled cauliflower2-3 Boiled Chopped Potatoes (1CUP)1 TBSP Ginger-Garlic Paste2 Chopped Green Chilies2 TBSP OIL2 TBSP ButterSalt as per your taste1 TSPN Red-Chili Powder/Lal Mirch Powder1 TSPN Red-Powder food color2 TBSP Pav-Bhaji MasalaCoriander to garnish2 Soft-breads (Pav)Half a lemon Method: – Bhaji Blend the chopped tomatoes and green chilies into a tomato purePre heat a Kadai and add 2 TBSP of OIL and 2 TBSP of ButterAdd Half a cup of Chopped Onion Sauté itAdd 1 Cup Chopped boiled cauliflowerAdd 1 TBSP Ginger-Garlic PasteAdd 1 Cup Chopped Green Capsicum and cover the lid and let it cook for 2-3minsAdd Salt as per your tasteAdd the boiled potatoesMix it well and mash it with a masherAdd half cup of Green PeasLet it cook under the lid for 2-3 minsAdd 1 TSPN of Red Chili/Lal Mirch PowderAdd 1 Cup tomato pureAdd 2 TBSP of Pav Bhaji MasalaAdd 1 Cup of WaterAdd 1 TSPN of Red Powder Food colorLet it cook under the lid for 5 MinutesMash and mix it wellPut the lid back on and let it cook on low heat for 5 minutesAdd the remaining Peas and let it slow cook for more 5 minutesYour Bhaji is ready to be served Pav Pre-heat a Tava and take 2 Soft-Breads (pav) and apply butter on both the sidesLet it heat a bit on both the sides and its ready to be served Plating Garnish your bhaji with coriander and chopped onions and serve it with half a lemonPlace the two pavs and serve it 🙂 Share this:Tweet Related Recipes Uncategorized bhajiDeliciousmumbaimumbaistreetfoodpavpav bhajipavbhajistreetfoodYummy
