  • TAKE 1/2 KG RED CARROTS
  • WASH AND PEEL THEM
  • GRATE THE CARROTS AND REMOVE THE CENTRE HARD PART
  • TAKE A PRESSURE COOKER AND PRE-HEAT IT
  • ADD 2 TBSP OF GHEE
  • ADD THE GRATED CARROTS
  • MIX IT WELL
  • COOK IT UNDER A LID FOR 2 MINS
  • ADD 125 ML OF WATER
  • MIX IT WELL
  • LOCK THE LID AND LET IT COOK FOR 3 WHISTLES
  • SWITCH OFF THE GAS AND LET THE PRESSURE RELEASE
  • REMOVE THE LID AND MIX IT WELL
  • SWITCH ON THE COOKER AND KEEP IT ON A MEDIUM FLAME
  • ADD SUGAR AS PER YOUR TASTE

  • ADD 2 TBSP CONDENSED MILK

  • KEEP STIRRING & LET THE HALWA THICKEN

  • ADD 50 GRAMS OF GRATED KOHA/KOHYA/MAWA
