Masala Koki is one of the spicy and flavored Sindhi style koki recipe, simply a thick wheat flour paratha is stuffed with onion and spices to make the breakfast

  • ADD 2 CUPS OF AATA/REGULAR WHEAT FLOUR
  • ADD 2 CHOPPED MEDIUM SIZED ONIONS
  • ADD 2 FINELY CHOPPED HARI MIRCH/GREEN CHILIES
  • ADD 1 TSPN JEERA/CUMIN SEEDS
  • ADD 1 TBSP CRUSHED DRIED ANAR DANA/POMEGRANATE SEEDS
  • ADD 1 TSPN LAL MIRCH/RED CHILI POWDER
  • ADD SALT AS PER YOUR TASTE
  • ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED DHANIYA/CORIANDER
  • ADD 2 TBSP GHEE/CLARIFIED BUTTER
  • ADD HALF CUP OF WATER SLOWLY TO FORM THE DOUGH
  • KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH
  • APPLY 1 TBSP GHEE ON TOP OF THE DOUGH AND GIVE IT A GOOD FINAL KNEAD
  • FORM A HANDFUL OF BALL SIZED PORTIONS TO MAKE THE KOKI AND KEEP THEM ASIDE
  • ON A FLAT SURFACE AND FLATTEN IT WITH YOUR HAND AND SLIGHTLY WITH A BELAN/ROLLING PIN
  • PRE-HEAT A TAWA
  • APPLY GHEE ON TOP OF THE TAWA
  • SEMI-COOK THE KOKI ON BOTH THE SIDES
  • REMOVE IT AND PLACE IT BACK ON THE FLAT SURFACE
  • FLATTEN IT PROPERLY WITH THE HELP OF A BELAN/ROLLING PIN
  • AGAIN PLACE IT ON TOP OF THE TAWA
  • APPLY GHEE AND COOK IT WELL ON BOTH THE SIDES
  • SERVE IT HOT WITH CURD
